How can I make choices myself in my life if family keep giving me opinions of their own?

my family was the same way and i was the same way as you. first you have to stop letting them in on every detail of your life and dont tell them your plans they dont need to know its not like ur hiding anything you just dont have to give them details about certain stuff your doin , like intead of tellin them bout something you wanna do jus do it find out for urslef and see if you like that way after a few days you can say yeah i tried this new thing out and i really like it then they dont have a say or a chance to bash the idea, besta luck
