What do i do! urgent advice?

im 12 in 7th grade going into 8th. 3 more days of school. there is a really cute boy i have had my eyes since the first day of this school year. we are really good buds. our lockers are right next to each others too : P. we have EVERYTHING in common. i would ask him out but im am afraid he will say no or laugh and tell his friends. I always see him look at me in class and it is not one of those zoned out looks and then i look at him and he looks away. i think it might be too late iin the school year to ask him but maybe not. I would like to know if i should ask him out and date over the summer or build up my nerves and wait till next year. REMEMBER...he is super cute and so far he is the one i have been waiting for
