My scooter/motorbike was stolen friday, how would....................?

how would they of taken it, i was baby siting for my sister i arrived at her house @ 22:00, i put my disk lock on my bike and left it on the path next to the house how would of someonebeen able to steel it with the disk lock on because there is no way the average thief would of been able to get it off so the front wheel was immobilised by the disk lock, i woke up iin the morning when she came home and she then notified me, its a black piaggio zip 2003 the reg is CA03 VBG it was stolen from the bettws area of newport, in wales uk, any info you can provide i would appreciate it where could they have gone what could they use it for and how would they move it with the disk lock on, do you reckon the police will recover it ifso how long do you reckon it would take to find it, these are questions you obviously dont no, but if you could give an educated guess would be nice, thanks
