16 and pregnant, Does my mum need to know the dad?

Hi I am 16 and pregnant, I live with my mum and her partner. Me and mum are not as close as what we was when i was younger its all since she had depression and still has now. Anyway I live in the UK my boyfriend is 25 (Which I know may sound odd but we are madly in love!) I met him when I was 14 but we was just friends no love or sex just friends anyway my mum had found out that i was talkin to him and phoned the police and ****. He got given a warning. They said we could get back in contact when I turned 16 , So one day we had seen each other in town a couple months after my birthday and swapped numbers then we met up, then few months after that I found out I was having his baby! I was so happy! But as you can see I really dont want to tell my mum who the dad is iin caseshe disowns me, Is it my choice whether to tell her who the dad is? Thanks x
