How to make Recovery Time From Surgery Pass by quicker?

Recently I've been put under iin order to fix a ruptured eye globe, and broken lens, Now My eye has several sutures it and the contact lens that was put in my eye to prevent discomfort is preventing me to see very clearly. leaving me unable to go out to school or anything. what i want to know is how i can make the next several months of recovery pass by quicker if i can't really do too much outside of my house?
